Christopher Beckley, PsyD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Beckley strives to create a safe and supportive environment to help adults and young adults of various backgrounds to feel empowered to achieve their desired changes. He concentrates on addressing concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, life transition, relationships, self-awareness, grief and trauma.<\/p>\n

Jennifer L. Bissett, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Bissett has trained at a wide variety of highly regarded institutions including Psychological Services at the University of Houston, the Pediatric Unit of MD Anderson Hospital, the Psychological Services Unit of the Houston Fire Department and the PIVOT Project. Her training at these respected institutions has uniquely prepared her to work from a generalist perspective\u2026<\/p>\n

Betty Brown, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Betty Brown is a licensed psychologist specializing in work with adults, couples and groups. She received three degrees from the University of Houston including a Master of Education in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Brown has been a counselor and psychologist on staff at the University of Houston and University of Houston-Clear Lake\u2026<\/p>\n

Cynthia Cook, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Cook is a licensed Psychologist specializing in work with adults, couples, and groups. She is an honors graduate from Kansas State University. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Dr. Cook has trained at a variety of well respected institutions, including the Counseling Center at Southern Illinois and Texas A&M Universities\u2026<\/p>\n

Michael Huttar, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Huttar completed his Ph.D. at the University of North Dakota in 2023 with specializations in autism spectrum disorder treatment across the lifespan, couples therapy, and disability concerns. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including medical and behavioral health centers, community mental health, speech therapy settings, public schools, and most recently at the UHCL Counseling and Mental Health Center. He has experience working with clients across the lifespan with issues related to autism, disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, spiritual\/existential concerns, and many other concerns.<\/p>\n

Brian Kline, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Brian Kline works with adults and young adults and has expertise helping those with concerns about relationships, depression, anxiety (generalized, social, panic), trauma, career development, and identity development (gender, sexual, and racial\/ethnicity identity development). He graduated with honors from State University of New York, Buffalo State College, and he earned his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.<\/p>\n

Sharla Marek, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Sharla Marek is a counseling psychologist who specializes in work with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Marek completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2002 from the University of Houston.<\/p>\n

Sherly Medina-Rivera, PsyD<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

Dr. Medina-Rivera works with children, parents, and\/or caregivers, focusing on treating trauma or exposure to adverse experiences including but not limited to stress, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, ADHD and life transitions.\u00a0 She completed her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the Universidad Ana G. M\u00e9ndez and earned her Master\u2019s and Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Albizu. The variety and diversity of Dr. Medina-Rivera\u2019s experiences have allowed her to be mindful, sensitive, and flexible in adapting, integrating, and customizing intervention plans according to the individual needs of her patients.<\/p>\n

Nicholas Oleen-Junk, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Oleen-Junk completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he trained in forensic psychology, college student mental health, and multicultural counseling. After finishing his clinical internship at the University of Minnesota\u2019s student counseling center, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he provided individual, couple, and group counseling to health science students and young medical professionals. Prior to relocating to Houston, Dr. Oleen-Junk served as a Staff Psychologist at Tulane University\u2019s student counseling center in New Orleans.<\/p>\n

Lela Pickett, PhD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Lela Pickett strongly believes that the core of her work is cultivating a safe and collaborative space for her clients. She has expertise in trauma work, multicultural counseling, anxiety, depression, identity development, LGBTQ+, and relationships.<\/p>\n

David Pulley, PsyD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. David Pulley \u201cDr. Dave\u201d is a clinical psychotherapist with decades of counseling experience. His Doctorate degree is in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in the subject of Soul Mates. Dr. Pulley enjoys building rapport and connections with clients to address a wide variety of conditions including anxiety, personality issues, adjustment, Leadership and Personal Development, and many other concerns for which he has provided assistance with over the years.<\/p>\n

Shahbaz Siddiqui, PsyD<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dr. Shahbaz Siddiqui has substantial training and experience in psychological assessments including a clinical expertise in evaluations for ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. He has worked with a diverse group of clients, ranging from children to seniors, offering personalized care tailored to each individual\u2019s unique needs. Dr. Siddiqui also brings 22 years of experience in media psychology, providing him with unique insights into the intersection of psychology and media influences.
