A neuropsychologist administers various tests to examine skills such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intelligence (IQ)<\/li>\n<li>Academic Achievement<\/li>\n<li>Language Skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention<\/li>\n<li>Executive Functioning<\/li>\n<li>Short- and Long-Term Memory<\/li>\n<li>Fine Motor Skills<\/li>\n<li>Social\/Emotional\/Behavioral Functioning<\/li>\n<li>Adaptive Skills (life skills for taking care of oneself &amp; getting along with others)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Children, adolescents, and young adults who are having difficulties with learning and overall functioning may benefit from a neuropsychological evaluation.
