Christopher Beckley, PhD
Dr. Christopher Beckley completed his PsyD in clinical psychology at Antioch University Santa Barbara, with a focus on forensic psychology and social justice. He trained at the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics engaging with individuals from multicultural, LGBTQ+, and varied socioeconomic backgrounds. His doctoral internship was at the San Ysidro Health Center, where he worked as part of a multidisciplinary team serving the San Diego metropolitan community.
These experiences helped deepen Dr. Beckley’s resolve to strive in creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for those he engages with to be heard and supported. This aligns with his belief that authentic change and healing happens through collaboration. Dr. Beckley’s integrative approach helps to empower individuals to challenge their own thought processes, develop greater self-awareness and offers support to achieve their desired changes.
Dr. Beckley concentrates on helping adults and young adults address concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, self-awareness, grief and trauma.
